Sound Baths

What is a Sound Bath?
A Sound Bath may include the use of crystal bowls, Tibetan Singing Bowls, chimes and more, to immerse participants in a soundscape of vibrations. Each tone and frequency has different and specific affects - activating a different energy center, chakra, and organ system - to help release anxiety and tension, and tune and harmonize the frequencies within the body.

Come See What All the Buzzzz is About!
From a January, 2024 Forbes Article: “A 2022 study found that “singing-bowl” sound healing was associated with increases in spiritual well-being and a reduction in tension and depressed moods. Researchers suggest that these effects can be experienced even in a single session…”
”Stimulating the vagus nerve is integral to activating the body's relaxation response, as it can induce a state of calmness and counteract the “fight-or-flight” stress response. This nerve is a key player in maintaining overall physiological balance and well-being, and research suggests that it may be activated during sound healing sessions, creating an optimal state for healing.”

Each instrument in a Sound Healing experience vibrates with a different frequency. These frequencies trigger the vibrating cells in the body to come into alignment.(1) Scientific studies have concluded that meditating or relaxing while being bathed in the sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls resulted in greater decreases in blood pressure and heart rate, reduced anxiety and depression, and increased overall feelings of well-being more than meditating or resting in silence alone.(23) In our daily waking state our brain is functioning with Beta waves, where we can analyze and problem solve. When we become more relaxed, or meditate, we begin to tap into Alpha waves. During a Sound bath we can experience even deeper relaxed states, tapping into Theta brain waves. Theta is a deeply meditative state where creativity & intuition thrives, here we are exposed to new insights for our journey and can imagine new ways of being. (1)
