Memorial Day Monday’s Special Schedule: Vinyasa Flow at 9:30am with Pam and Qigong at 11am with Nancy G.
In-Studio and Online Monday, May 25
Start your Memorial Day holiday with one or both of our special morning classes before you head to the pool or your holiday BBQ!
Vinyasa Flow for All Levels with Pam Kaufman, C-IAYT from 9:30-10:45am Pam’s goal is to provide a nurturing and inspiring place for all students to come, practice, and simply be as they are. She believes yoga + meditation should be accessible and a supportive, safe space for students to explore their own mind-body connection throughout life's many transitions. Pam offers tools for dealing with life's big and small stresses and managing both mental and physical discomfort. Her teaching style is gentle and fun, but her sequences are intense and designed to bring students to their edge. She hopes finding this balance between gentleness and threshold on the mat can be helpful in finding this balance off the mat, too. Learn More about Pam HERE.
Qigong for All Levels from 11am-12pm Offered weekly on Monday mornings but at a special time on Memorial Day, Nancy’s Qigong practice incorporates gentle movement, breathwork, self-massage, and meditation. Adaptable to various abilities, her classes are for adults of all ages, including seniors (movements are done either seated or standing; there is no floor work so you will not need a yoga mat). She uses of imagery from nature to support the three elements that enhance the parasympathetic (“rest and digest”) nervous system: (1) a relaxed but upright posture (2) long, slow, deep breaths, and (3) mental focus on the present moment. All other regularly scheduled classes are cancelled on May 25th.
Both Classes are Hybrid Offerings, In-Studio and Online Recording Option Available thru May 27th For online participation, a link will be sent ~55 minutes prior to the start time.
