TGI-FriYAY Series: RAGE Yoga with Jess Homer & Julia Otten
In-Studio & Online Friday, August 15 | 5:30-6:45pm
Are you feeling angry, and not sure what to DO with those feelings? This class is your chance to Let. It. OUT!
Yogic and Buddhist teachings state that Anger (aka RAGE) is nothing more than an energetic vibration, and thus is neither bad nor good, once we separate it from our dualistic “right and wrong” mentality. But if we have internalized the idea that anger is “bad,” we may try to ignore or repress it, which can cause us to become bitter, fearful and hateful, and eventually lash out in ways we will regret.
Anger and rage can be potent catalysts for personal empowerment, change and motivation. Join Jess & Julia to let yourself RAGE out, stare that anger in the face, and LOVE it.
This class will include: ~ group discussion about the ways we have been made to suppress instead of feel this vital emotion, and where this emotion stems from; ~ vinyasa flow practice focused on the solar plexus, sacral, heart and throat chakras, taught to loud, chick rock music; and ~ a deliciously long savasana with reiki healing offered by Jess.
Offered In-Studio AND Online (Hybrid), with Recording Option available thru Sunday night. Use your regular class pass or membership to drop in!
