Yoga for Lower Back & Pelvic Floor Health with Dr. Kellie Soltis and Sarah Fishman

Yoga for Lower Back & Pelvic Floor Health with Dr. Kellie Soltis, PT, DPT, TMBP and Sarah Fishman

In-Studio & Online
Sunday, November 8 from 1:00pm-3:00pm

Deepen your understanding of your low back and pelvic floor, and gain practical tools to support your body both on and off the mat. Not all low back pain is the same, and common pelvic floor issues can also be caused by a variety of factors — but pain or dysfunction in these two areas are frequently related.

In this interactive workshop, we'll explore the differences between common sources of discomfort, including muscular imbalance, SI joint pain, disc-related symptoms, and nerve pain, and how the muscles surrounding your hips, pelvis, and core can influence how you feel. This workshop will include an anatomy lecture, breathwork, and exercises for low back and pelvic floor with Dr. Kellie, and an accessible and targeted yoga practice with Sarah.

Leave with a better understanding of your body and practical movement strategies to help you feel stronger, more supported, and more confident on the mat. Questions are encouraged, and students of all gender identities are welcome.

This class is appropriate for all levels. No prior yoga experience is needed!

Cost: $29 by October 30; $35 as of October 31
