Start your Memorial Day holiday with one or both of our special morning classes before you head to the pool or your holiday BBQ!

Vinyasa Flow & Restorative Yoga for All Levels from 9:30-10:45am
with Linda di Desidero
Linda’s classes center on themes of healing, strength, insight, balance, and transformation.  Themes are frequently established with a short reading, then explored throughout the sequence, focusing on the intentions of individual poses and how they might bring meaning and alignment to different aspects of our lives.  Class sequences are designed to be accessible and flexible, adapting poses to different bodies with different needs.

Qigong for All Levels from 11am-12pm
with Nancy Goldberg
Offered weekly on Monday mornings but at a special time on Labor Day, Nancy’s Qigong practice incorporates gentle movement, breathwork, self-massage, and meditation. Adaptable to various abilities, her classes are for adults of all ages, including seniors (movements are done either seated or standing; there is no floor work so you will not need a yoga mat). She uses of imagery from nature to support the three elements that enhance the parasympathetic (“rest and digest”) nervous system:  (1) a relaxed but upright posture (2) long, slow, deep breaths, and (3) mental focus on the present moment.
